Yesterday, I endured a monumental blogging moment. I received my very first attack comment on me, and my character. Because this comment is oh so very special (it’s my first not so nice comment. Ever.), I didn’t want it to get lost in the shuffle. So, I thought I’d dedicate its very own posting. Because that’s how I roll G. Now, I present to you, the lovely words from “Cindy” (please note I’m desperately trying to resist the urge to call her Cindy-Lou-Who, as it seems as if she’s been spending a lot of time with the Grinch.) She writes:

“If you hate your job so much why don’t you just leave and get another temp job elsewhere. Or here’s a thought, just stop complaining about your job and do it. Sounds like you are a real winner.”

Ohhh CindyLouWho (OK, so I totally couldn’t resist), I truly appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to share your thoughts with me. Obviously, you’re a long time reader, and you really do know all about my work ethic. I’m so happy that you decided to stop by! Welcome! Happy reading! I hope my writing makes you feel better about yourself, because really. If you have to attack an anonymous blogger to make yourself feel better? Well, you go right on ahead honey. Just wanted to give you an official welcoming. So everyone, play nice, and let’s give a warm welcome to CindyLouWho!!! You guys are the best, I know you’ll make her feel right at home.

In other news- I’m happy to say the big! job! interview! went very well. I don’t want to jinx anything, but I should find out by tomorrow, which would be great, because then I would at least “know.” I did however, receive a different offer to interview for a Meeting/Conference coordinator position. This pleases me greatly, because if everything falls to shit, all hope is not lost. Also, very excited because it’s Thirsty Thursday, which means happy hour with the three musketeers. Good friends, good drinks, good conversation, which is a nice opener to the weekend that is supposed to be gorgeous! And full of sun. And fun with my ladies in Nashville. If that wasn’t enough to look forward to tonight, I also have clean laundry and sheets waiting to be picked up from the laundromat. And who doesn’t love the smell of freshly washed and clean sheets? Mmmm. Love it.  It’s like a gift from the Laundry Gods above in Downy land.

Well, you must excuse me folks, because I must go. You see, I have plenty more bitching and complaining to do about my temp job. And you know, I realllly can’t slack on keeping up this winning attitude. Ciao Bellas! (especially you, CindyLouWho, you sweetheart you!)
